The Siwan-Mashrakh portion in the state of Bihar will be four-laned, according to a tender released by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
The scope of work includes building and upgrading NH-227A from Siwan to Mashrakh from km 4.217 to km 50.123 to four lanes, as well as building a four-lane Tanrwa/Siwan Bypass on NH-531 from km 0.000 to km 4.217 on a hybrid annexation mode under the BRT Scheme for Backward Areas, Religious Sites, and Tourist Attractions.
The project is expected to cost Rs 1027.32 crore.
