- Suzlon Group is planning to take up new wind power project in Gujarat. The project involves developing a 252-megawatt (MW) wind power. The project is located in Sidhpur, Gujarat and expected to be commissioned in 2022. As of June 2021, Suzlon Group had secured an order from CLP Indis
- JSW Renewable Energy is planning to take up new wind power project in in forest lands in Kanakapura, Gollalingammanahalli villages of Sanduru Taluk, Bellary District & Bandravi, Santhegudda Villages of Molakalmuru Taluk, Karnataka. The project involves establish 600 MW of wind power project in non forest area. The power which is being produced is transmitted to a 400 Kv Substation from Pooling Station. The 400 KV transmission line between the two stations is passing through forest and non forest lands. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.39000 million. As of March 2021, forest clearance for the project is underway.
- Torrent Power is planning to take up New wind power project in Kutch, Gujarat. The project involves setting up of wind energy power plant with capacity of 499.80 MW. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.33452 million. The mode of implementation of the project is on build, own, operate by private developer. As of July 2021, Solar energy corporation of India limited is awarded tender to torrent powers and Currently this project is under implementation stage.
- Wheels India is planning to take up new wind energy plant in Thervoy Kandigai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The project involves wind energy segment and would set up up a plant. Currently have built up capacity for 3.50 lakh wheels and will be taking this upto 7.50 lakh wheels. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1000 million. On June 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of July 2021, project involves manufacturing of wind turbine castings, fabricated engineering components related to wind and railway sector 18600 MT/Y. The company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Alfanar Company is planning to take up 300 MW wind energy project in Kutch, Gujarat. The project involves setting up of wind energy power plant with capacity of 300 MW under 1200 MW ISTS connected wind power projects [Tranche-V]. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.21944 million. The mode of implementation is others. As of July 2021,The solar energy corporation of India limited awarded tender to Alfanar company and currently this project is in under implementation stage.
