- Shakambhari Ispat and Power is planning to take up steel plant expansion project in Purulia, West Bengal. The project involves expanding the steel plant which will include a steel melting shop that will help us reach around 3 lakh tonnes per annum from the current 1.75 lakh tonnes. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1500 million. As of January 2020, pre project activities are going on.
- Rashtriya Ispat Nigam is planning to take up a liquid steel expansion project in Kurmannapalem, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves expansion of liquid steel capacity from 6.3 MTPA to 7.3 MTPA by
revamping and augmentation of existing facilities. The project is estimated to cost Rs.95445.3 million. As of January 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project - Hariom Pipe Industries is planning to take up induction furnaces expansion project in Peddayapally (V), Balanagar (M), Mahboobnagar, Hyderabad. The project involves replacement of 2TPH Furnaces with 20 x 2 TPH, in unit-I, it produce 240 TPD/ 79,200 TPA Ingots and billets, in unit-II, expanding the production capacity of Ingots and billets from 45000 TPA to 66,000 TPA, and setting up new two units as unit-III and unit-IV, In unit-III production capacity 25 x 2 TPH 300 TPD/ 99,000 TPA Ingots and billets and unit-IV production capacity 25 x 2 TPH 300 TPD/ 99,000 TPA Ingots and billets. The total production capacity of induction furnaces after expansions 1040 TPD/ 343200 TPA Billets / Ingots. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.30 million. As of January 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Gayatri Ispat is planning to take up a Ms billets manufacturing expansion project in Addl. MIDC, Phase-II, Jalna, Maharashtra. The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity of Ms billets/ingots and structural up to 1000 MT/Day. The project is estimated to cost Rs.684.6 million. As of January 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- Shaurya Ispat Udyog is planning to take up new steel plant in Kirna Village, Tilda Tehsil, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The project involves establishment Steel plant comprising of Induction Furnace 5 x 20 produce MS Billets / Steel Ingots (3,30,000 TPA) and Rolling Mill 3,21,750 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3150 million. As of February 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Aarti Green Tech is planning to take up new steel scrap unit in IMT, Rohtak, Haryana. The project involves setting up steel scrap processing unitover 9.92 acres of land in IMT Rohtak. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1510 million. As of February 2020, company received approval from The Haryana Enterprise Promotion Board.
- Binjusaria Ispat is planning to take up induction furnace expansion project in Teegapur Village, Kothur Mandal, Mahaboobnagar, Telangana. The project involves additional 12 TPH (210 TPD) with one more induction
furnace in the same premises. After expansion the total production capacity of ingots/billets will be 1200 TPD. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.50 million. As of February 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway. - Super Smelters is planning to take up new steel unit in Jamuria, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. The project involves setting up a greenfield steel unit and expanding brownfield capacity from 20000 TPM to 40000 TPM. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.10000 million. As of February 2020, pre project activities are going on.
- Vanya Steels is planning to take up new steel plant in Hirebaganal Village, Koppal, Karnataka. The project involves establishment of a new unit for beneficiation, sponge iron, billet plant, rolling mill, pipe mill, galvanizing plant, etc. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.7610 million. On December 2019, the company has been allotted by the state Land Allotment Committee for setting up the project. On February 2020, the project work has commenced. As of April 2021, project involves Sponge Iron Plant from 1,20,000 TPA (4×100 TPD DRI Kilns) to 4,20,000 TPD Sponge Iron (4 x 100 TPD, 2 x 500 TPD DRI Kilns) with Captive Power Plant 57 MW with investment Rs.7610 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
