Bajaj Auto’s New Electric Vehicle Mfg. Unit
Bajaj Auto is planning to take up new electric vehicle manufacturing unit in Akurdi, Pune, Maharashtra. The project involves setting up electric vehicle manufacturing unit with capacity 5,00,000 EVs per annum. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3000 million. As of December 2021, It has commenced work on the new EV manufacturing unit, which will be housed at its Akurdi plant. The company said vehicles would roll out from the plant by June 2022 for both the domestic and export markets.
Star Cement North East’s New Cement Grinding Unit
Star Cement North East is planning to take up new cement grinding unit in Chamata Pathar, Tehsil Sonapur, Kamrup, Assam. The project involves establish a new cement grinding unit of 2 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.4750 million. As of December 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
