Laurus Synthesis’ New Chemical Mfg. Unit
Laurus Synthesis (Unit-II) is planning to take up a new chemical manufacturing unit in Moturupalem Village & Gurajapalem Village, Rambilli Mandal, Denotified Area, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves establishment of new unit for manufacturing of chemicals with capacity 206.37 Kg/Day. The project is estimated to cost Rs.3105.73 million. As of January 2022, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
Shyam Steel Works’ New Integrated Steel Plant
Shyam Steel Works is planning to take up new integrated steel plant in Jangal Sundari Karmanagri- Parcel II, Mouza – Lachhmanpur, Jarukhamar, Siulibari, Digardhi, Shikratyar, Senera & Talshankra, Block – Raghunathpur-I, Purulia, West Bengal. The project involves establish a new Integrated Steel Plant with Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant -2 x 1.5 MTPA, Pellet Plant-2 x 1.2 MTPA, Producer Gas Plant (14 x 5000 NM3/Hr), DRI Kilns – 1.68 MTPA, WHRB Power through DRI kilns – (8 x 15 MW), Through BF – 18 MW , Through Coke Oven- 15 MW and CFBC based Power Plant of (2 x 15 MW), SMS – IF with LRF -1.26 MTPA, BOF with LRF) and VD unit -0.525 MTPA and EAF with LRF – 0.175 MTPA, Rolling Mill through hot charging- 1.05 MTPA, Sinter Plant -1.092 MTPA , Blast Furnace – 0.7875 MTPA, Coke Oven Plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.45910 million. As of January 2022, environment clearance for the project is underway.
