Megha Agro International’ New Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Mfg. Unit
Megha Agro International is planning to take up new active pharmaceutical ingredients manufacturing unit in SIPCOT Industrial Growth Centre, Gangaikondan, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu . The project involves establishment of active pharmaceutical ingredients manufacturing unit with capacity 12311.4 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.92.7 million. As of February 2022, environment clearance for the project is underway.
The Ramco Cement’s New Dry Mortar Products Mfg. Project
Ramco Cements is planning to take up new cement manufacturing project in Jaggayapet, Krishna, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves manufacturing Clinker with capacity of 2500000 Metric Ton. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on June 2018. On August 2018, the project is in planning stage. On October 2019, expansion of clinker production and down sizing the capacity of coal based thermal power plant; without increasing capacity of cement production. The capacity of the project is clinker 4.685 Million TPA, cement 3.65 Million TPA, captive thermal power generation 24 MW, waste heat recovery power generation 27 MW and DG set power generation 4 MW. As of February 2022, project involves establishment of manufacturing of dry mortar products 8300 TPM and liquid products 624 TPM with investment of Rs.400 Million. The company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
