Bhagyalakshmi Cotton Industries’ New Cotton Spinning and Weaving Project
Bhagyalakshmi Cotton Industries is planning to take up a new cotton spinning and weaving project in Lingampalle Kollampalle, Narayanpet, Telangana. The project involves establishment of cotton spinning and weaving unit with capacity cotton lint 7500 TPA and cotton seed 14000 TPA. The project is estimated to cost Rs.42 million. As of July 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
Tata Steel’s Crude Steel Expansion Project
Tata Steel is planning to take up crude steel expansion project in Kalinga Nagar, Jajpur, Odisha. The project involves crude steel production from 3 MTPA to 8 MTPA, hot rolled coil from 3 MTPA to 7 MTPA, 2.2 MTPA cold-rolled products and 2 MTPA long products. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.475990 million. As of July 2021, Odisha government approved the investment proposal.
