Haren Textiles’ New Textile Unit
Haren Textiles is planning to take up a new textile unit in MIDC Tarapur Industrial Area, Boisar, Palghar, Maharashtra . The project involves establishment of a new unit for manufacturing of Yarn Sizing (200 Ton/M), Scoured Fabric (1 Million Mtrs/M) and Woven fabric/Humidification (1 Million Mtrs/M). The project is estimated to cost Rs.310 million. As of December 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
Orient Cement’s New Cement Grinding Unit
Orient Cement is planning to take up new cement grinding unit in Tiroda, Gondia, Maharashtra. The project involves establishing a cement grinding unit. The company has identified land admeasuring approximately 35 acre. On September 2021, pre project activities are going on. the company has entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Adani Power Maharashtra on 23 September 2021 for setting out the understanding for facilitating bona fide use of the land for setting up cement grinding unit in the state, As of December 2021, project involves standalone grinding unit with cement production capacity of 2 MTPA along with D.G. Set of 500 KVA with investment of Rs.4991.6 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
