Jai Balaji Jyoti Steels’ Integrated Steel Plant Expansion Project
Jai Balaji Jyoti Steels is planning to take up Integrated steel plant expansion project in Village: Tainser, Tehsil: Lathikata, Sundargarh, Orissa. The project involves expansion of DRI plant from 120,000 TPA to 714,000 TPA sponge iron, Billets from 92,400 TPA to 356,400 TPA, New EAF with LRF, AOD & caster 66,000 TPA billets, New rolling mill 422,400 TPA TMT Bars and wire rods), Briquette plant 112,000 TPA ferro alloys and new captive power plant 110 MW – 55 MW WHRB & 55 MW AFBC. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.14850 million. As of September 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
Kitex Garments’ New Garments Unit
Kitex Garments is planning to take up new garments unit in Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, Warangal, Telangana. The project involves establishment of garments unit. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. million. The Warangal project will start by October whereas the commercial productions will start by December and Kitex expects full capacity by December 2023. As of September 2021, company Kitex Garments on Monday announced that the company has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Telangana State Government.
