Smartchem Technologies’ New Technical Ammonium Nitrate Mfg. Plant
Smartchem Technologies is planning to take up new technical ammonium nitrate manufacturing plant in Gopalpur Industrial Park, Chamakhandi, Tehsil- Chatrapur, District- Ganjam, Orissa. The project involves establishment of technical ammonium nitrate manufacturing plant with capacity Nitric Acid (100% basis)- 900 MTPD, Technical Ammonium Nitrate Solution (100% basis)- 1143 MTPD, Captive Power Plant- 14.6 MW, Technical Ammonium Nitrate Prill- 1000 MTPD. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.16000 million. On June 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of December 2021, company performs ground-breaking ceremony and foundation stone laying of its Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) complex will have a capacity of 377 KTPA. The project is expected to be completed by August 2024, 50% of the engineering work is already completed and the piling work will begin from January 2022.
Great Galleon Ventures’ New Fuel Ethanol Mfg. Plant
Great Galleon Ventures (Unit-II) is planning to take up a new fuel ethanol manufacturing plant in Sejwaiya, Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves setting up fuel ethanol manufacturing plant with capacity 120 KL/Day with co generation power plant 1.8 MW. The project is estimated to cost Rs.650 million. As of December 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
