SIPCOT’s New Industrial Park Development Project
State Industries Promotion Corporation Of Tamilnadu (Sipcot) is planning to take up development of industrial park project in Soorapoondi and Vaniamallee Villages, Gummidipoondi Taluk, Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. The project involves establishment of development of industrial park with capacity 203.69 Ha (503.12 acres of land). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2353.8 million. As of May 2022, environment clearance for the project is underway.
Sterlite Tech Cables Solutions’ Cables (Optical Fiber Cables) Mfg. Expansion Project
Sterlite Tech Cables Solutions is planning to take up a new cables (optical fiber cables) expansion project in MIDC Waluj, Gangapur, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity of cables (optical fiber cables) with capacity 4 MnFKM / Year. The project is estimated to cost Rs.1212 million. As of May 2022, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
