Kaynes Technology’ New Consumption Meters Mfg. Unit
Kaynes Technology is planning to take up consumption meters manufacturing unit in Badanguppe Kellamballi Industrial Area, Chamarajanagar District, Karnataka. The project involves establish a new unit for manufacturing of consumption meters for electricity,water Or gas, flow meters and counting meters / electronic assembly unit with 5 Acres of land. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.350 million. On January 2022, State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority has approved the proposal. As of May 2022, the project work has commenced.
Ministry of Railway’s Chennai – Bengaluru – Mysuru High Speed Rail Corridor Project
Ministry of Railways is planning to take up Chennai – Bengaluru – Mysuru high speed rail corridor project in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The project involves construction of high speed rail corridor from Chennai to Mysuru via Bengaluru with the length of 435 Kilometer. The stations are likely to come up at Chennai, Poonamallee and Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu, Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, Bangarpet, Bengaluru, Channapatna, Mandya and Mysuru in Karnataka. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1189020 million. The paperwork like a survey for land, alignment, preparation of detailed project report is progressing fast. As of December 2020, Currently this project is under idea stage. The National High-Speed Rail Corporation has floated a tender to identify an agency to do a preparatory survey for the line.
