Avtar Steel’s Metallurgical Expansion Projects
Avtar Steel (Unit-B) is planning to take up metallurgical expansion projects in Jat Joshi, Sonipat, Haryana. The project involves expansion of manufacturing capacity of unit-B from 29000 MPTA to 80000 MPTA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.150 million. As of September 2022, environment clearance for the project is underway.
Dorf Ketal Chemicals’ Copper Chromite Mfg. Expansion Project
Dorf Ketal Chemicals is planning to take up a copper chromite manufacturing expansion project in MIDC Taloja, Panvel, Raigad, Maharashtra. The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity of Copper Chromite (1500 MT/A) and Ammonium Nitrate Concentrated Solution 50 – 60 % (3000 MT/A). The project is estimated to cost Rs.720.3 million. As of September 2022, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
