Astron Paper & Board Mill’s New Captive Power Plant
Astron Paper & Board Mill is planning to take up new captive power plant in Sukhpar village, Halvad taluka, Morbi, Gujarat. The project involves setting up 10 MW power plant. It has the existing three MW power plant for electricity and steam generation. The additional 10 MW power plant will enhance fully internal support towards requirement of steam generation. As of July 2021, Astron Paper & Board Mill has received environment clearance from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board for a captive power plant.
Nakoda Chemicals’ Bulk Drugs Mfg. Expansion Project
Nakoda Chemicals is planning to take up a Bulk drugs manufacturing expansion project in Jeedimetla, Quthubullapur, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Telangana. The project involves manufacturing expansion of Acetazolamide 222 Kg/day, Ecabet sodium 166 Kg/day, Norfloxacin 69 Kg/day, Etc. Total plant capacity will be 19.15 TPM. The project is estimated to cost Rs.445.9 million. As of July 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
