ASPL’s Integrated Mini Steel Plant Expansion Project
Amalgam Steel & Power is planning to take up integrated mini steel plant expansion project in Kandra-Chowka Road, Kandra, Saraikela-Kharasawan, Jharkhand. The project involves expansion in existing mini steel plant and setup new pellet plant with capacity of 0.8 TPA, Sponge Iron 280,500 TPA, Billets 223,000 TPA and Bars and TMT. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2539 million. As of June 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
Jarandeshwar Sugar Mill’s Sugar Factory Expansion Project
Jarandeshwar Sugar Mills is planning to take up new molasses based distillery project in Chimangaon, Koregaon, Satara, Maharashtra. The project involves molasses based distillery with capacity of 80 KLPD. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1300 million. On February 2019, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of June 2021, project involves expansion of sugar factory from 10,000 to 15,000 TCD, co-gen plant from 30 to 50 MW and molasses (B &C)/ sugarcane juice distillery from 80 to 300 KLPD with investment of Rs.1784.8 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
