Alcochem Agro Industries’ New Grain Based Distillery Plant
Alcochem Agro Industries is planning to take up new grain based distillery plant in Balhegaon, Tal: Yeola, Nashik, Maharashtra. The project involves establishment of 100 KLPD grain based distillery plant along with 2.4 MW Co-generation power plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1190.5 million. As of August 2022, environment clearance for the project is underway.
Grasim Industries’ New Viscose Staple Fibre Mfg. Expansion Project
Grasim Industries (Grasim Cellulosic Division) is planning to take up expansion of viscose staple fibre at Vilayat, Bharuch District of Gujarat. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.35000 million. On August 2018, the company is seeking environment clearance for further expansion of viscose staple fibre from 1,27,750 TPA to 4,38,000 TPA. The project involves manufacturing of viscose staple fibre with capacity 255500 TPS. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on Apirl 2022. As of August 2022, the project is in planning stage.
