Grace Industries’ New Iron Ore Crushing and Beneficiation Plant
Grace Industries is planning to take up New iron ore crushing and beneficiation plant in Chandrapur Tadali Growth Centre, Chandrapur, Maharashtra. The project involves installation of 1.6 MTPA iron ore crushing and beneficiation plant 1.2 MTPA (2X0.6 MTPA) pellet plant, 2 X 350 TPD DRI plant 2,31,000 TPA sponge iron production along with 16 MW (2 X 8 MW) WHRB and induction furnace (4X15 T) and CCM for production of 1,98,000 Ingots/Billets and 1,94,000 TPA TMT bars. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.4500 million. On July 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of March 2022, project involves expansion of the existing unit production from billets (18000 Tonnes/Month); Rolled Products (18000 Tonnes/Month) and Ferro-alloys (6000 Tonnes/Month) at plot nos- A24 and A30, over an area of 25.04 ha (as per the EC granted by SEIAA Maharashtra), to 2.4 MTPA iron ore crushing and beneficiation plant, 2.289 MTPA pellet plant (with 56000 Nm3/Hr Coal Gassifier Plant), 8X500 TPD DRI plant (13,20,000 TPA sponge iron production) along with 240 MW with investment of Rs.40120 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
Indoves Industrial’s Steel Plant Expansion Project
Indoves Industrial is planning to take up steel plant expansion project in Village Jamgaon, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The project involves expansion of existing steel plant for installation of upstream facilities for production of 420,000 TPA sponge iron through 2×500 & 2×200 TPD coal based DRI Kilns, 400000 TPA MS Billets through 4×30 MT induction furnaces & 6/11m radius 4 strand CCM and 360,000 TPA TMT Bar, 6000 TPA Wire mill, 72000 TPA galvanization plant along with 46 MW captive power plant (34 MW WHRB + 12 MW AFBC) and expansion of existing tube mill from 29000 to 120000 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.4958.6 million. As of November 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
