Acer India is planning to take up in new desktops, laptops, servers, displays, tablets, mobiles & peripherals manufacturing project in Pondicherry, Puducherry. The project involves manufacturing of desktops, laptops, servers, displays, tablets, mobiles & peripherals. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on May 2022. As of September 2022, the project is in planning stage.
Balmer Lawrie-Van Leer’s Plastic Products Mfg. Expansion Project
Balmer Lawrie-Van Leer is planning to take up a copper chromite manufacturing expansion project in IDC, Phase-II, Varale, Tal- Khed, Dist-Pune, Maharashtra. The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity of plastic jerry cans 2.5 Ltr to 20 Ltr (724000 Nos./Y), plastic injection moulded parts (43350000 Nos./Y). The project is estimated to cost Rs.168.82 million. As of September 2022, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
