- Ruchira Green Earth is planning to take up new lithium-ion batteries manufacturing unit in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana . The project involves setting up new unit for manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries with capacity 5,000 Nos/M. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2000 million. As of May 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Okaya Power is planning to take up in new industrial unit in Gullaewala, Baddi, Solan, Himachal Pradesh . The project involves setting up new industrial unit for manufacturing of EV Charger (18000 Nos), Lithium Packs, LI-Modules (2 Lakhs Nos), Etc. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.220 million. On January 2021, State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority has approved the proposal. As of February 2021, the project work has commenced.
- Lohum Cleantech is planning to take up lithium-ion battery expansion project in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The project involves setting up new unit for battery manufacturing capacity to a gigawatt-hour scale. The company, which currently has battery manufacturing capacity of 300 megawatt-hours per annum. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2500 million. As of April 2021, pre project activities are going on.
- Tata Autocomp Systems is planning to take up Lithium ion battery pack manufacturing project in Pune, Maharashtra. The project involves manufacturing of lithium ion battery pack with capacity of 12960 Nos/Annum. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on January 2021. As of April 2021, the project is in planning stage.
- Elest is planning to take up lithium ion batteries manufacturing project in Cheyyar Sipcot, Cheyyar, Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. The project involves manufacturing of lithium ion batteries with capacity of lithium ion batteries with capacity of 16 GWh. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on February 2021. As of May 2021, the project is in planning stage.
- HBL Power Systems is planning to take up a new lithium iron batteries manufacturing project in Nandigama, Rangareddy, Telangana. The project involves manufacturing of lithium iron batteries with capacity 750000 Nos/Annum or 2500 LAh/A. The project is estimated to cost Rs.1008 million. As of July 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
