- Acc is planning to take up new limestone mine in Madukkarai, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The project involves existing limestone mine (Area: 14.51.5 Ha.) with limestone production capacity of 0.167Mllion TPA and waste / topsoil 75000 CuM per annum (Maximum). The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 43.8 million. As of November 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Shee Digvijay Cement is planning to take up new Pachhtardi limestone mine in Pachhtardi, Taluka: Bhanvad, Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat. The project involves development of limestone mine (Area- 18.03.88 ha) with limestone Production Capacity of 0.35 Million TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.50 million. As of November 2020, the project has been given final environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest.
- ECO Cements is planning to take up new Amanganj limestone mine in Beli, Baraha Kala, Hinouti, Chikalhai, Daharra, Gaura, Hinouta Mishra, Kanti, Mahewa, Patelpura, Pawaiya Villages, Panna, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves mining of Amanganj Limestone with capacity 6.72 Million TPA including Limestone: 2.8 Million TPA, Top Soil: 0.12 Million TPA & Over Burden/Sub Grade: 3.8 Million TPA, ML Area – 1793.59 ha. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1140 million. On April 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of September 2021, project involves establishment of Amanganj limestone mine (ML Area: 1793.59 ha) with limestone: 3.75 Million TPA, Top Soil: 0.40 Million TPA & OB/IB: 9.60 Million TPA (Total Excavation: 13.75 Million TPA) along with installation of 1600 TPH Capacity of Crusher with investment of Rs.4000 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Shree Cement is planning to take up new Karhi Chandi limestone mining project in Karhi, Chandi & Khapradih, Balodabazar, Chhattisgarh. The project involves mining of captive limestone mine (Karhi Chandi Limestone Deposit) Area – 242.127 ha with limestone production capacity of 1.5 Million TPA, Inter-Burden: 0.45 Million TPA and top soil: 0.051 Million TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.341 million. In June 2017, the project was submitted for the first level of environmental clearance and was accorded the same in Sep 2017. As of May 2020, the project has been given final environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest.
- Dalmia Cement is planning to take up new limestone mining project in Beeranahalli, Arebammanahalli, Taranahalli, Konkanhalli and Shettihuda (Sedam), Taluka: Sedam, Kalaburagi, Karnataka. The project involves development of Sedam limestone mine (ML Area: 995.97 ha) with limestone capacity 5.2 Million TPA, soil 0.062 Million TPA and Waste 0.98 Million TPA; (Total Excavation 6.242 Million TPA) Crusher 1500 TPH . The estimated cost of the project is Rs. million. As of June 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Calcom Cement India is planning to take up new Umrangshu limestone mine in Umrangshu, Dima Hasao, Assam. The project involves mining of Umrangshu limestone 7778565.6 TPA. In Aug 2011, the project was submitted for the first level of environmental clearance and was accorded the same in Dec 2011. As of June 2020, the project has been given final environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest.
- The Ramco Cements is planning to take up new Kolimigundla limestone mine in Kolimigundla, Itikyala, Kalvatala, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves mining Kolimigundla limestone. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.108.33 million. In Sep 2017 the project received first level of environment clearance ( Terms of Reference) and as of Nov 2017, the proposal has been submitted to the ministry of environment and clearance for getting final environment clearance for the project. As of June 2020, the company is in the process of getting final environment clearance for the project.
- Assam Mineral Development Corporation is planning to take up new Umrangshu limestone mine in Umarangshu, District Dima Hasao, Assam. The project involves development of Umrangshu limestone mine with capacity 1500000 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.62.5 million. As of August 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Ramniwas Singh & Sons is planning to take up new Bhatgawan Sunehra limestone and Dolomite mine in Bhatgawan, Sunehra, Murwara, Katni, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves mining of mineral deposits of Limestone (360837 TPA) & Dolomite (992655 TPA). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.50 million. As of August 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
