- Tata Steel is planning to set up iron ore beneficiation plant expansion project in Joda, Keonjhar, Odisha . The project involves expanding the iron ore beneficiation plant from 12 MMTPA to 17.6 MMTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.9460 million. As of June 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Shree Channa Keshava Industries is planning to take up new iron ore beneficiation plant in Dharmpura Village, Sandur Taluk, Bellary, Karnataka. The project involves establishment of 4,80,000 Tons per Annum (TPA) capacity Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant along with 15,000 TPA Manganese Ore Beneficiation. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.142.5 million. As of February 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- B.C.Mohanty and Sons is planning to take up a new chrome ore beneficiation plant in Tahasil Danagadi, Jajpur, Odisha. The project involves development of chrome ore beneficiation Plant (48000 TPA). As of February 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- KAI International is planning to take up new iron ore beneficiation plant in Kapanda, Tehsil – Lahunipara, Sundergarh, Odisha. The project involves setting up green field project for production of iron ore beneficiation plant – 15,00,000 TPA, iron ore pelletisation plant – 12,00,000 TPA, sponge Iron – 3,46,500 TPA, billet – 4,30,000 TPA, rolling mill – 4,17,100 TPA, CPP – 75 MW, producer gas plant – 30,000 Nm3/hr and SMS slag crushing unit – 60,150 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3490 million. As of March 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Dinanath Allied Steel Manufacturing is planning to take up new iron ore beneficiation plant in Mul MIDC, Taluka Mul, Chandrapur, Maharashtra. The project involves setting up 0.6 MTPA iron ore beneficiation and 0.4 MTPA iron ore pellet. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.900 million. As of March 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Jayaswal Neco Industries is planning to take up iron ore beneficiation project in Chhotedongar, Bastar, Chattisgarh. The project involves beneficiation of iron ore with capacity 3 Million TPA. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on November 2020. As of March 2021, the project is in planning stage.
