- Ranajithpura Infrastucture is planning to take up new iron ore beneficiation unit in Ranajitpura village, Sandur Taluk, Bellary, Karnataka. The project involves establishment of iron ore washing (0.48 MTPA), Crushing & Screening (2*0.6 MTPA) with DRI (2*95 TPD) & Power plant (5MW). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2080 million. As of February 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Thriveni Earthmovers is planning to take up new beneficiation plant in Deojhar, Keonjhar, Odisha. The project involves setting up 30 MTPA Beneficiation plant in two phase. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.14267.5 million. On March 2020, State Level Single Window Clearance Committee has approved the investment proposal. As of March 2021, project involves setting up 34.5 MTPA throughput Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Tata Steel is planning to take up Joda East Iron Mine and Beneficiation Plant expansion project in Joda, Kamarjoda, Banspani, Khuntpani & Baitarani villages, Barbil, Kendujhar, Orissa. The project involves expanding the Joda East Iron Mine from 12 MTPA to 19.5 MTPA ROM with total excavation of 22.14 MTPA, and its beneficiation plant throughput capacity is planned to increase from 12 MTPA to 17.6 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.19150 million. As of June 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Reliable Sponge is planning to take up new iron ore beneficiation plant in Lahunipara, Sundergarh, Odisha. The project involves setting up Iron Ore Beneficiation plant of 2.5 MTPA and Pellet plant of 2.0 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2500 million. As of July 2020, State Level Single Window Clearance Committee has approved the investment proposal.
- Rashi Steel And Power is planning to take up a new iron ore beneficiation plant in Paraghat, Tehsil – Masturi, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The project involves setting up beneficiation plant 1.9 Million Tonnes / Year and Coal Washery- 0.35 Million Tonnes / Year. As of September 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Geomin Iron Manufacturing is planning to take up new iron ore beneficiation plant in Jhiti, Tahsil Sihora, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves construct a 200 ton per hours feed capacity Iron ore Beneficiation plant 480000 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.615 million. On of September 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of May 2021, project involves establishment of iron ore beneficiation 480000 MTPA, power generation by DG set 250 KVA with investment of Rs.500 Million. The company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- Godawari Natural Resources is planning to take up new iron ore beneficiation project in Gidhali, Durg, Chattisgarh. The project involves beneficiation of iron ore with capacity 3 Million TPA. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on March 2020. As of September 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Shree Monolithics is planning to take up chrome ore beneficiation unit installation project in Jaminibandha, Po-Bhandaripokhari, Bhadrak, Orissa. The project involves installation of Chrome Ore Beneficiation Unit of throughput capacity 18,500 TPA within the existing campus. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.28.3 million. As of October 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- A3 Minerals and Metal Export is planning to take up new chrome ore beneficiation unit in Byree, Jajpur, Odisha. The project involves establishment of chrome ore beneficiation plant over an area of 2.545 Acres with throughput capacity of 18,500 TPA within the existing chrome monolithic unit.. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.28.3 million. As of October 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- JSW Steel is planning to take up New Narayanposhi Iron and Manganese Ore Mine in Harischandrapur, Koira, Kashira, Kusumdihi and Kathamala RF villages under Koira tehsil of Sundargarh District, Odisha. The project involves production of 10 million TPA (ROM) of Iron ore with total excavation of 10.815 million TPA (ROM 10 MTPA + OB 0.815 MTPA) and 0.036 million TPA of Manganese ore (ROM) with total excavation of 0.3059 million TPA (ROM 0.036 MTPA + OB 0.269 MTPA) along with screening, crushing and 6 MTPA beneficiation plant in lease area of 347.008 ha (As per DGPS) /349.254 ha. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.9600 million. As of October 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Grivs India Mining Corporation is planning to take up new quartz beneficiation unit in Godhi, Mandir Hasaud, Tahsil- Arang, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The project involves establishment of quartz beneficiation (granulation) unit and manufacturing, processing, sizing, grinding of quartz for production of ramming mass, quartz grits, quartz powder, quartz slab & tiles with 99,500 TPA throughput. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.40 million. As of November 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Tata Steel is planning to set up iron ore beneficiation plant expansion project in Joda, Keonjhar, Odisha . The project involves expanding the iron ore beneficiation plant from 12 MMTPA to 17.6 MMTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.9460 million. As of June 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
