- Gopal Sponge & Power is planning to take up new mini integrated steel plant in Chapka, Bastar, Chhattisgarh. The project involves establishment of mini integrated steel plant with pellization plant of 0.8 mTPA, 1×400 TPD & 1 x 600 TPD DRI Kiln to produce sponge iron of 3,35,000 TPA, induction furnace of 5 x 20 T to produce hot billets / M.S.billets of 3,00,000 TPA, rolling mill to produce TMT bars / rolled products through 3,00,000 TPA, ferro alloy plant of 1×12 MVA capacity to produce 40,000 TPA of Fe Mn (or) 30,000 TPA of Si Mn (or) 45,000 TPA of Pig Iron, Power generation through WHRB of DRI Kilns -25 MW & through CFBC of 15 MW. Total Land : 46 Acre ha. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.4900 million. As of January 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Shri Bajrang Steel Corporate is planning to take up new integrated steel plant in Jalso Village, Tilda Tehsil, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The project involves setting up integrated steel plant with capacity of Sponge Iron 0.60 MTPA, Pelletisation Plant with Coal Gasifier (2 X 17000 Nm3/Hr) 1.40 MTPA, Iron ore beneficiation Plant 2.0 MTPA, Steel Melting Shop 0.4 MTPA, Blast Furnace 0.4 MTPA, Sinter Plant 0.375 MTPA, Rolling Mill (Round & Flat Products) 0.4 MTPA, Ferro Alloys plant (with AOD Converter/Ferro Chrome/Titanium Slag) 0.06 MTPA and Power Generation 70 MW, 24 MW Power Generation (CFBC) Coal Based 46 MW Power Generation (WHRB). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.14000 million. As of February 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India is planning to take up integrated steel plant expansion project in Hazira, Surat, Gujarat . The project involves expanding the integrated steel plant capacity from 9.6 MTPA to 14 MTPA liquid steel. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.260000 million. As of February 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Shantha Steel & Power is planning to take up integrated steel plant expansion project in Village Hosahalli, Hirekalagada Hobli, Koppal, Karnataka. The project involves expansion of existing unit from 10 MW thermal power plant to integrated steel plant with configuration 1,65,000 TPA sponge iron,2,03,150 TPA TMT rolled products and 25 MW captive power plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2020 million. As of April 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Steels is planning to take up integrated steel plant expansion project in Siltara Industrial Area Phase-IINRVS , Vill- Siltara, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The project involves expansion of integrated steel plant by adding facility for Pellet Plant of 0.8 MTPA along-with 1 MTPA grinding unit cum beneficiation plant of 0.5 MTPA with existing DRI plant 270000 TPA, SMS with Caster 331500 TPA, Ferro Alloy Plant 29400 TPA, Rolling Mill 384000 TPA, Captive Power Plant 25MW-WHRB and Coal Based Captive Power Plant 60 MW. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.6940 million. As of May 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
