- Rashmi Udyog is planning to take up new integrated steel plant in Baghmuri, West Medinipur, West Bengal. The project involves establishment of new integrated steel plant with capacity 1.4 Million TPA along with 235 MW Captive power. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.15000 million. On January 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of April 2020, Expanding the existing pellet plant (1.2 Million TPA to 6.0 Million TPA) keeping iron ore beneficiation plant 1.5 Million TPA, producer gas plant (75000 N.Cu.M/hr to 200000 N.Cu.M/hr) with addition of new wet grinding unit (4.5 Million TPA), sponge iron plant (1.8 Million TPA), ferro alloys plant (0.036 Million TPA) with chrome briquette & zigging plant, steel melting shop (1.4 Million TPA) with slag crushing unit, rolling mill with pickling and galvanizing line (3.5 Million TPA), wire Rod & wir with investment of Rs.15000 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Rashmi Alloy Steel is planning to take up new iron ore pellet manufacturing project in Gokulpur, Midnapur, West Bengal. The project involves manufacturing of iron ore pellet with capacity 2.4 Million TPA. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on November 2019. On February 2020, the project is in planning stage.On August 2020, project involves amendment of 1.2 Million Ton per Annum Integrated Steel Plant with 225 MW CPP- with investment Rs.17000 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway. As of April 2021, project involves expanding the Steel Plant from 1.2 To 2.0 Million TPA Finished Steel with 270 MW Captive Power Plant with investment of Rs.29000 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Janki Corp is planning to take up integrated steel plant expansion project in Sidiginamola, Bellary, Karnataka. The project involves expanding the integrated steel plant with addition of steel melting shop-3,72,352 TPA, pipes : 91,200 TPA, structures : 96,000 TPA, TMT : 1,56,112 TPA, sponge iron plant of 2× 350 TPD, captive power plant 31 MW (AFBC-21, WHRB-10) to the existing facility: sponge iron plant: 6× 100 TPD, pellet plant: 6,00,000 TPA, captive power plant 24 MW (AFBC-9, WHRB-15 MW) and iron ore beneficiation plant 6,00,000 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.4234.3 million. As of February 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- MSP Steel and Power is planning to take up integrated steel plant expansion project in Jamgaon, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The project involves expanding of integrated steel plant comprising pellet plant from 900,000 TPA to 1250,000 TPA, DRI plant from 375,000 TPA to 953,000 TPA, New 720,000 TPA sinter plant, New 450,000 TPA blast furnace, SMS from 305512 TPA to 1171,000 TPA, rolling mill from 480,000 TPA to 1020,000 TPA, New 220 TPD oxygen plant, captive power plant from 72.5 MW to 123.5 MW. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.20450 million. As of March 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- AP High Grade Steels is planning to take up new greenfield integrated steel plant in Sunnapurallapalli and Peddandluru Villages, Jammalamadugu Mandal, YSR Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves establishment of greenfield integrated steel plant of 3 MMTPA crude steel plant and captive power generation of 84.7 MW plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.169860 million. As of March 2020, the project was submitted for the first level of environmental clearance and was accorded the same in Jan 2021. On Nov 2020, Public Hearing process underway. As of March 2021, the project has been given final environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest.
- K B Steels is planning to take up new steel plant in Harovanahalli, Chilakanhatti Hosapete Taluq, Bellary, Karnataka. The project involves establishment of integrated steel plant with capacity 6000 TPD. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3000 million. As of March 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Sun Flag Iron And Steel Company is planning to take up integrated steel plant modernization project in Eklari, Taluka : Mohadi, Bhandara, Maharashtra. The project involves modernization and addition in configuration of 1.0 MTPA Integrated steel plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.549.3 million. The project received first level of environment clearance ( Terms of Reference) and as of May 2020, the proposal has been submitted to the ministry of environment and clearance for getting final environment clearance for the project. As of July 2020, the company is in the process of getting final environment clearance for the project.
- Oil and Natural Gas Corporation is planning to take up a new oil and gas exploration project in Pratallameraka (V), Kalla, West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves exploratory drilling well BTN-AC for oil And gas with capacity 50,000 kg/day. The project is estimated to cost Rs.460 million. As of July 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- Jai Raj Ispat is planning to set up a new integratsed teel plant in Orvakal Mega Industrial Hub of
APIIC, Guttapadu Village, Orvakallu (M), Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves establishment of integrated steel plant with capacity 0.7 MTPA. The project is estimated to cost Rs.11673.5 million. As of August 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
