- Dande Renewal Energy is planning to take up new scooters assembling unit in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves establishment of new scooters assembling unit. The unit assembling of electrical two-wheelers and life Po4 batteries and will produce 2,400 electric scooters and 500 batteries. As of January 2020, company has received approval from Unit Approval Committee in VSEZ.
- Lectrix EV, a part of SAR Group is planning to take up new electric rickshaws manufacturing project in Gurgaon, Haryana. The project involves manufacturing of electric rickshaws with capacity 50000 Nos./A. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on October 2019. As of January 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Eto Motors is planning to take up new electric vehicles manufacturing unit in Telangana. The project involves setting up a greenfield manufacturing facility for its range of electric vehicles, including three wheelers. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1500 million. As of November 2020, pre project activities are going on.
- Hero Cycles is planning to take up new eCycle valley in Punjab. The project involves setting up an eCycle valley for manufacturing electric bicycle. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.6000 million. The total investment in 100-acre project would be around Rs 6000 million, Hero Cycles will invest Rs.2500 Million, the rest amount of Rs 3500 million would be invested through joint venture partners and ancillary units. As of February 2020, pre project activities are going on.
- CK Motors is planning to take up new EV plant in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The project involves setting up EV Plant for producing electric vehicles (EVs) for commercial use. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.100 million. As of February 2020, pre project activities are going on.
- Micromax Informatics is planning to take up a e-motorcycles manufacturing unit in South India. The project involves setting up second manufacturing unit for producing e-motorcycles and scouting for a suitable place in the South. The project is estimated to cost Rs.5000 million. As of March 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- Benling India Energy And Technology is planning to take up new electric two wheelers manufacturing project in Gurgaon, Haryana. The project involves manufacturing of electric two wheelers with capacity 30000 Pcs. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on January 2020. As of June 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Veera Vahana Udyog is planning to take up a new electric buses manufacturing project in Industrial Park, Gudipalli (V), Somandepalli (M), Ananthapuramu, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves manufacturing of Electric Buses 3000 Nos, Diesel Buses 2000 Nos and Hybrid Buses 3000 Nos. The project is estimated to cost Rs.5371.5 million. As of June 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- State Infrastructure & Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand is planning to take up a new electric vehicles manufacturing unit in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. The project involves setting up electric vehicles manufacturing unit 20234 Square Meter with capacity 300000 Pieces per Annum. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.450 million. As of August 2020, the project is in under development stage.
