- Birla Corporation is planning to take up new Brahampuri coal mine in Pench Kanhan Coalfield, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves mining of Brahampuri coal mine with capacity 0.36 MTPA (UG). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1910 million. As of October 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Western Coalfields is planning to take up Tawa II UG mine expansion project in Hirapalla, Tehsil Ghoradongri, Betul, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves expansion of Tawa II UG mine for increase in production from 0.60 MTPA to 0.86 MTPA in an area of 523.75 ha (520 ha mining area + 3.75 ha for power line diversion). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.518.213 million. As of January 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- The Singareni Collieries Company is planning to take up Godavarikhani cluster incline and coal mine expansion project in Peddapalli, Telangana. The project involves expansion of godavarikhani cluster No.1&3 incline capacity of 0.486 MTPA at jangaon and coal mine (No.2&2A and No.5) opencast cum underground with the capacity of from 3.648 MTPA, peak production upto 4.648 MTPA at vithalnaga village. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.4711.9 million. As of February 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Central Mine Planning & Design Institute is planning to take up Marwatola sector I & II coal block project in Umaria, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves development of coal block mine. The mode of implementation of the project is on EPC route. As of June 2021, Currently this project is under development stage and the tender has been published. This project brings an opportunity for contractor.
- Chowgule and Company is planning to take up Sahapur east coal mine project in the villages of Sohagpur and Pali tehsil of District Shahdol & Umaria, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves extraction of coal by underground method. The peak rated capacity of the mine will be 0.70 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3900 million. As of June 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Aurobindo Realty and Infra is planning to take up New opencast cum underground coal mining project in Takli Jena Bellora North and South, Wardha Valley Coalfield, Taluka Bhadravati, Chandrapur, Maharashtra. The project involves coal mine with rated capacity of 1.10 MTPA from open cast mine and 1 MTPA from under ground. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1000 million. As of August 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
