The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3965.8 million. As of May 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
• Northern Coalfields is planning to take up OCP mine block B expansion project in Chitrangi, Singrouli, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves Block-B Expansion OCP from 5.47 Mtpa, Proposed increase in production capacity : Normative- 8.00 Mtpa, Peak -10.00 Mtpa, Total production capacity for which EC sought – 10.00Mtpa . ii. Mine lease Area: Existing mine lease area :1339.00 Ha Increase in mine lease area due to Expansion : 918.17 Ha Total Mine lease area for which EC sought :2257.17 Ha. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 15490 million. As of June 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
• Central Coalfields is planning to take up new Argada OCP mining project in Panchayat- Argada CD Block, Ramgarh, Jharkhand. The project involves mining of Argada OCP with capacity 1.7 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2329.2 million. As of July 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.

• South Eastern Coalfields is planning to take up Gevra OC Expansion Project in Chhattisgarh. The project involves planning, design, engineering, construction, fabrication, erection, supply, installation, testing, trial run and commissioning of two numbers silos each of 3,000 Te capacity and with twin 4,500-8,500 TPH rapid loading systems, one no RCC overhead bunker of 35,000 Te, truck receiving station (TRS) of two x five x 500 Te hoppers with associated belt conveyors of two x 45,00 TPH along with transfer points for reclamation of coal from TRS and bunker and transporting to silos Gevra OC Expansion (35-70 MTY) Project (Gevra Phase-II) in Korba district on turnkey basis.. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.7025 million. As of July 2020, company has floated tender for this project.
• Sinagreni Collieries Company is planning to take up new Ramagundam open cast coal mine in Telangana. The project involves development of Ramagundam open cast coal mine in Peddapally district – 17.994 Ha. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. million. As of August 2020, forest clearance for the project is underway.
• Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power (- a joint venture of NLC India Limited and Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited) is planning to take up new Pachwara south coal mine in Chirudih, Kundapahari, Mahuldabar, Dumka, Jharkhand. The project involves development of Pachwara south coal mine with capacity 9 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.179.501 million. As of August 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
