- Somany Piastrelle, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Somany Ceramics is planning to take up new glazed vitrified tiles manufacturing unit in Dhanot, Gandhinagar, Gujarat . The project involves setting up a greenfield project of 3.48 million sq meters per annum of Glazed Vitrified Tiles. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.900 million. As of March 2021, The company’s board of directors decided to make investment for the project.
- Somany Ceramics is planning to take up Kassar plant expansion project in Kassar, Bahadurgarh, Haryana. The project involves modernisation-cum-expansion of the production line of double fast firing to produce large format wall tile 7,000 sq meters per day to 16,000 sq meters per day. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.450 million. The project will be completed by fourth quarter of next fiscal. As of March 2021, Pre project activities are going on.
- Aparna Enterprises is planning to take up a new glazed vitrified tiles manufacturing project in IDA, Peddapuram, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves manufacturing of Glazed Vitrified Tiles (GVT) and Polished Glazed Vitrified Tiles (PGVT) 11,000 Sq.m/day, Vitrified Ceramic Tiles 15,000 Sq.m/day with investment of Rs.820.2 Million. As of April 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Ramest Ceramic is planning to take up ceramic vitrified tiles manufacturing project in Nichi, Morbi, Gujarat. The project involves manufacturing of ceramic vitrified tiles with capacity of 100800 Mts. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on February 2021. As of May 2021, the project is in planning stage.
- Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation is planning to take up new ceramics and ancillary units in Morbi, Gujarat. The project involves setting up new ceramics and ancillary units. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.150000 million. As of July 2021, the government of Gujarat has allocated 500 ha of land on the outskirts.
- Kajaria Ceramics is planning to take up value added tiles expansion project in Andhra Pradesh. The project involves adding a capacity of 3.80 million sq mtr of value added tiles at Srikalahasti plant in Andhra Pradesh at a cost of Rs 1100 Million. As of August 2021, Kajaria Ceramics has announced expansion project.
- Kajaria Ceramics is planning to take up Jaxx plant expansion project in Morbi, Gujarat. The project involves adding 4.40 million sq mtr new capacity with investment Rs.800 Million. This expansion is expected to be completed by March 2022. As of August 2021, Kajaria Ceramics has announced the project.
