- MPM is planning to take up a lustron carbon powder manufacturing expansion project in MIDC Butibori, Hingna, Nagpur, Maharashtra. The project involves expanding the manufacturing of lustron carbon powder and mouldaid upto 2400 MT/M and recarburiser graphite, CP coke carburon MS (400 MT/M). The project is estimated to cost Rs.44.779 million. As of January 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- M P Greenergies is planning to take up a new carbon manufacturing project in Jhanjharwada Industrial Area, Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves manufacturing of carbon (16500 MT/Year), furnace oil (16500 MT/Year). The project is estimated to cost Rs.89.9 million. As of June 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Epsilon Carbon is planning to take up graphite anode materials expansion project in Musinayakanahalli, Taluk: Sandur, Ballari, Karnataka. The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity of graphite anode materials from 5,000 TPA to 50,000 TPA. The company has commissioned its new manufacturing facility in Ballari, Karnataka, to produce 5,000 tonne anode material annually. It plans to triple this capacity to 15,000 tonne in 2021 and to 50,000 tpa by 2025. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.5000 million. On August 2020, pre project activities are going on. As of July 2021, project involves expand its capacity by 65,000 TPA at an additional investment of Rs 3500 Million.
Phillips Carbon Black is planning to take up new various carbon black manufacturing project in Thervoykandigai Taluk: Gummidipoondi, Tamil Nadu. The project involves manufacturing of various carbon black 150000 Million and cogeneration power 25 MW. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.6000 million. On October 2020, pre project activities are going. As of December 2020, project involves setting up new manufacturing unit of different grades of carbon black (production capacity -2.60 lakh tonne/annum) and 50 MW waste gas based captive power plant with investment of Rs.6150 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway. - PCBL (TN) is planning to take up New carbon black manufacturing unit in ThervoyKandigai, Gummidipoondi, Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. The project involves setting up new manufacturing unit of different grades of carbon black with production capacity 2.6 Lakh TPA and 50 MW waste off gas captive power plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.6150 million. As of April 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2000 million. As of April 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
