The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity of bakery products from 250 TPM to 900 TPM. The project is estimated to cost Rs.32.5 million. As of August 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Anjani Foods is planning to take up a new food products manufacturing project in Ravichandran RajGopal,7/6, Modavalasa, Denkada, Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves producing Cookies (0.40 Tons/Day), Bread (8 Tons/Day), Buns (3.75 Tons/Day) and Rusk (0.80 Tons/Day). The project is estimated to cost Rs.73 million. As of September 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Britannia Industries is planning to take up new biscuits manufacturing plant in SIPCOT Gangaikondan, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. The project involves establish an expansion plant for manufacture of Biscuits. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2500 million. As of November 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Priniti Foods is planning to take up new bakery products manufacturing project in Chatia Aulia, Sonipat, Haryana. The project involves manufacturing potato chips, snacks, namkeen and bakery product with capacity 6000 Ton. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on May 2020. As of November 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Srujan Food Processing is planning to take up a new biscuits manufacturing project in Chincholi MIDC, Mohol, Solapur, Maharashtra. The project involves manufacturing of biscuits with capacity 2500 MT/M. The project is estimated to cost Rs.90.8 million. As of March 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Britannia Industries is planning to take up food items manufacturing expansion project in Khurda, Odisha. The project involves increase its capacity by 85 per cent from the current 35,000 metric tonne to 65,000 metric tonne per annum. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.940 million. As of July 2021, The company announced the project.
