- Birla Tyres is planning to take up new automobile tyres manufacturing unit in Balasore, Orissa. The project involves establishment of automobile tyres manufacturing unit. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on December 2019. As of February 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- MRL Tyres is planning to take up new tyres manufacturing project in Bajana And Sedla Village,Taluka Dasada, Surendranagar, Gujarat. The project involves manufacturing of tyres with capacity 5000 MT. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on December 2019. As of March 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- MRF is planning to take up a tubes manufacturing expansion project in Dhatwada, Tisk, Usgao, Ponda, Goa. The project involves expanding the manufacturing of capacity of tubes from 22 Lac nos/annum to 25 Lac nos/annum. As of August 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- Ralson is planning to take up in new bicycle tyres & tubes manufacturing project in Kot Panaich, Ludhiana, Punjab. The project involves manufacturing of bicycle tyres & tubes with capacity 12 Million pices/Annum. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on October 2020. As of February 2021, the project is in planning stage.
- TVS Srichakra is planning to take up 2 & 3 wheeler tyre unit expansion project in Tamil Nadu. The project involves increase in 2 & 3 wheeler tyre capacity by 25-30% and doubling of off-highway tyre capacity from current levels in its Madurai and Pantnagar plants. The investment is planned to be funded by a mix of debt and internal accruals. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.10000 million. As of February 2021, company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu
- MRF is planning to take up a tyres manufacturing expansion project in Ankanpalle, Sadasivpet, Sangareddy, Telangana. The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity of Tyres (8871 Nos/Day), PC – Radials (20982 Nos/Day), Etc. The project is estimated to cost Rs.9300 million. As of May 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
