The project involves setting up new greenfield alumina refinery unit with capacity 3 Million TPA along with co-generation power plant of 150 MW. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.110000 million. On January 2020, The High Level Clearance Authority approved the project. As of June 2020, The environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Rational Engineers is planning to take up a new wiire/strips manufacturing project in Hamarapur, Wada, Palghar, Maharashtra. The project involves manufacturing insulated copper/aluminium conductor (170 MT/M), supper enameled copper/aluminium conductor (100 MT/M) and kraft crepe paper (5 MT/M). The project is estimated to cost Rs.160 million. As of February 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- Jindal Aluminium is planning to take up in new aluminium extrusions plant in Angul Aluminium Par, Angul, Odisha. The project involves setting up 75,000 MT / annum aluminium extrusions plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.5000 million. On February 2020, State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority has approved the proposal. As of March 2020, the project work has commenced.
- Bharat Containers is planning to take up a cans and container manufacturing expansion project in MIDC Hingna, Nagpur, Maharashtra. The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity of aluminium collapsible tube, aerosol cans / container and bottles, etc. with capacity 3.5 Million Pcs/Month. The project is estimated to cost Rs.115.812 million. As of March 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- Alutech Foundry India (Unit – 3) is planning to take up a new aluminium casting unit in Arasur, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The project involves aluminium casting of power generator valves, storage tanks, body parts with capacity 500 T/Month. As of April 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
