National Dairy Development Board (NDDB)-owned Indian Immunologicals Limited (IIL), a public sector vaccine manufacturer, announced that it will invest Rs 700 crore to build a brand-new animal vaccine manufacturing plant in Genome Valley, Hyderabad.
The proposed facility will produce developing diseases like Foot and Mouth disease (FMD). Approximately 750 people will be employed overall as a result of the project.
The facility is designed to be a cutting-edge, fully integrated biosafety level 3 (BSL-3) facility for the manufacturing of drug substances (DS) and their corresponding fill-finish.
