The Murugappa group company Coromandel International Limited presented Nano DAP, a fertiliser based on nanotechnology that was created by its R&D facility located at IIT Bombay.
“To determine the product’s efficacy, we collaborated with a few agricultural universities and conducted about 700 field trials. The Department of Fertilisers gave it regulatory authorization, according to a company executive who released a statement.
To establish efficacy of the product, conducted 700 fiedl trials and has partnered with leading agricultureal universities, the company said in a release.
Earlier in March, NAno DAP received regulatory clearance from the Department of fertilizers, establishing coromandel as the pioneer in adopting nano technology in Phosphate fertliser space.
