Mumbai Metro invites bids for line-5 Kasheli depot

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) issued a call for bids for the building of the Kasheli Depot on the Mumbai Metro Orange Line (Line-5) (Package CA-151).

On a 27.13 hectare land parcel directly south of Kasheli metro station, which is being built by Afcons Infrastructure in north-east Mumbai, this metro train depot (car shed), together with accompanying infrastructure, is slated to be constructed.

A 690m test track, a stabling shed (SBL) with 30 lines, a workshop shed (WSL) space with 3 lines, and an inspection shed (IBL) area with 4 lines will be included in addition to administrative facilities.
