In order to create 88 MW of solar projects in the Maharashtra region around Nagpur, the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL) has issued an invitation for bids.
The bid must be submitted by May 8, 2023, at the latest. The day the bids open is the same day.
The maximum rate imposed by MSEDCL is 3.20 (around $0.03)/kWh.
Bidders are required to submit a $100,000 (or $1,222)/MW earnest money deposit. From the last date for submission of bids, it will be valid for six months.
Successful bidders are required to submit a performance bank guarantee in the amount of 500,000 ($6,109)/MW within 30 days of the work order’s date. This guarantee is good for 14 months following the effective date.
The bidders must acquire the essential clearances and permits to set up the solar power installations.
