MS Agarwal Foundries is a leading manufacturer of steel and alloy castings, with a strong presence in the Indian market. The company is now planning to expand its operations by setting up a new steel rolling mill manufacturing unit in Chatla Gouraram, Manoharabad, Medak, Telangana. The proposed project involves the expansion of steel rolling mill to 600000 TPA, induction furnace to 600000 TPA, and re heating furnace to 432 TPD. The total estimated cost of the project is around Rs.400 million, and the company plans to finance it through a combination of debt and equity. As of February 2023, the company has received the necessary clearance from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project, and the construction activity is expected to begin soon. The expansion is expected to create numerous job opportunities in the region and contribute to the region’s economic growth.
