MP government to develop biotech park in Neemuch

The government of Madhya Pradesh has suggested developing a biotechnology park in Neemuch at a cost of Rs 50 crore.

The park’s goal is to create a platform for start-ups to incubate and technologies to be transferred to industry.

The projected park would be built under the Department of Biotechnology’s National Biotechnology Park Scheme, which is part of the Union Ministry of Science and Technology.

“We have identified around 75 acres of land in Neemuch to develop the state’s first mega biotechnology park. The estimated cost of developing the park is around Rs 50 crore,” MP Council of Science and Technology director general Dr Anil Kothari said.
