In a project for which the government would provide 10 hectares of land, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari stated on Sunday that Mother Dairy will invest Rs 400 crore in Nagpur.
The senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Nagpur Lok Sabha MP said dairy products from the new factory will be provided across the nation while speaking to media to highlight accomplishments in the nine years of the Narendra Modi government.
“The business would buy 30 lakh litres of milk each day from farmers. Farmers in Nagpur and other Vidarbha areas will gain from it, he claimed.
Mother Dairy was established in 1974 as a part of Operation Flood and is a fully owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB).
