In order to spur future growth, Mitsu Chem Plast Limited, one of the major producers of plastic packaging made by blow moulding, injection moulding, and custom moulding, announced capacity expansion.
By introducing a new product, pail containers, to serve the lubricant, paints, ink, and food (FMCG) industries, the company is broadening its portfolio.
As a result, from the previous 23,377 MTPA, the new capacity expansion has increased the capacity by 1,650 MTPA. The project will cost Rs 6.14 crore in machinery, moulds, and ancillaries, which will be paid for by a non-banking financial company through an unsecured loan.
To fulfil the growing demand from the user industry, it is suggested that the Pail Containers be introduced on the domestic market.
