Mindtree, an information technology services firm, announced the opening of its second facility in Pune, which can house more than 350 experts. This is in addition to its Hinjawadi plant, which has a capacity of 1,300 employees.
The new building is 43,000 square feet and is located at the ICC Tech Park (International Convention Center). Mindtree started operations in Pune, India’s second largest city, in 2009, with a 200,000-square-foot facility in Hinjawadi.
According to the organisation, it has grown fast in Pune over the last several years as a result of increased worldwide demand for its digital transformation services, employing more than 3,700 experts in the city, with women accounting for more than a third of its workforce.
