MARS Petcare India, one of the country’s top pet food companies, has inked a memorandum of understanding with the Telangana government to expand its petfood production in Hyderabad.
MARS Petcare plans to invest Rs 500 crore in India to meet increased demand for manufactured pet food and to boost exports throughout Asia. On December 16, 2021, KT Rama Rao, Telangana’s Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, approved the company’s incentive.
A second dry extruder line will be added as part of the brownfield investment, which will increase the plant’s capacity.
