The 300-bed high end tertiary care facility will be built in the city by the Raipur-based Goel Group of Industries, according to Manipal Hospitals, which is funded by private equity.
The hospital claimed in a news release that the greenfield facility will join its network of 28 hospitals spread across 15 cities with more than 7,800 beds, a talent pool of 4,000 doctors, and more than 11,000 staff members.
The facility will be erected in phases, with an initial bed capacity of 300 beds and a possible increase to over 500 beds, according to the statement. Goel Group will be involved in the building and setup of the facility.
