Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) signed 25 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) at the ongoing World Expo 2020 in Dubai, with a proposed investment of about Rs 15,260 crore ($2 billion) under Magnetic Maharashtra 2.0.
Magnetic Maharashtra 2.0 was in its seventh and first international editions at the time.
MIDC said in a statement that the memorandums of understanding (MoUs) signed are in critical areas such auto and auto components, logistics, electric cars, textiles, data centre, pharma, bio-fuels, and energy.
A total of 10,851 individuals might be directly employed as a result of this proposed investment.
