The government of Madhya Pradesh has submitted a proposal to the government of India regarding the Greenfield Smart City project’s choice of Pithampur Sector-7 and the Jabalpur textile and logistic cluster.
The state government is hopeful that at least one of the two suggested locations would be chosen and that the project will receive a grant of Rs 10 billion. Both places have about 50 hectares of land, most of which are government-owned. The region satisfies the requirements for the creation of a Greenfield Smart City, in addition to other ideal circumstances.
Bharat Yadav, the urban administration commissioner for Madhya Pradesh, said that the state was eager to show the central government the potential for investments and economic growth in the region.
