L&T signs MoU with TN government

Over the next five years, L&T will build data centres with a capacity of 90 megawatts and accompanying facilities in Kanchipuram. The project is expected to employ roughly 1,100 people, with 600 direct and 500 indirect jobs.

Larsen & Toubro said that it had “struck an MoU with the Government of Tamilnadu to develop a data centre in Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu.”

L&T CEO and MD S N Subrahmanyan said, “Tamil Nadu is on a growth trajectory, and we are delighted to partner with the Government of Tamil Nadu to propel this growth by building a data centre that will further trigger development by attracting investments and generating jobs for the people of Kanchipuram.”
