The Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) contract for the forthcoming Navi Mumbai Airport Phase 1 project has been awarded to L&T Infrastructure Engineering Ltd.
The Adani Group-led Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited (NMIAL) is developing this new airport between Panvel and Ulwe, Maharashtra, with a four-phase master plan to handle over 60 million passengers per year in the future.
Because the procurement process was handled internally by NMIAL, I don’t know how much the contract will cost or how long it will last.
Ashoka Buildcon is now working on site preparatory work, including the building of a rock fill embankment and subgrade work, as part of a Rs. 262.17 crore contract given in 2021.
