With Jindal Stainless Ltd., Linde India Ltd. has entered into a long-term deal for the construction of a 1,450 tonnes per day air separation unit. The ASU would assist the business in fulfilling its need for industrial gases for its expansion project in Kalinganagar in Odisha.
The ASU will provide JSL with 1,450 tonnes of oxygen, 1,800 tonnes of nitrogen, and 64 tonnes of argon per day. It will also have extra capacity to meet merchant market demand.
According to the long-term contract, Linde India will plan, construct, run, and maintain the ASU plant in Kalinganagar Industrial Estate, one of India’s major steel clusters.
