At Oragadam on the outskirts of Chennai, the Danish company Lind Jensen Machinery (LJM), which manufactures hydraulic cylinders, has opened its first facility there. After the facility that is now operating in China, this will be the company’s second factory in Asia.
LJM has been added to IndoSpace’s tenant roster, which already includes Grade A industrial real estate and logistics parks. It has leased the Danish company 50,000 square feet of storage space in Oragadam II.
LJM will manufacture hydraulic pitch, lock cylinders, and accumulators for the wind energy sector at the new site. According to a release from Indospace, which operates a network of 44 logistics parks with 49 million square feet of delivered or under construction space across 10 cities, the project has already secured an investment of €2 million.
