KPI Green Energy to set up 16.10 MW hybrid power project in Gujarat

In accordance with the 2018 Gujarat hybrid power policy, KPI Green Energy is installing green hybrid capabilities at Bhavnagar totaling 16.10 MW.

The business said in a regulatory filing that the hybrid power project will include solar and wind capacity that will be created at its Bhungar location in Mahuva at Bhavnagar, Gujarat.

“The requisite financial closure to the tune of Rs 132 crore has already been achieved from State Bank of India. Further, the company has arranged long-term PPAs in advance with various corporate parties for sale of power generated out of the hybrid power project upon commissioning,” the company said. The project is scheduled for commissioning in March 2023, it said.
